Kim Carpenter AM is a storyteller. His art is based on literary works and focuses on characters and stories in atmospheric, stylised and often fantastical worlds.

His medium is water colour, inks and crayon on Arches Water Colour Paper. He has been represented in Australian and International exhibitions.

His most recent exhibition WILDE: Life and Fantasy in Sydney in 2022 was inspired by Oscar Wilde’s life and work

He was represented in a group exhibition for Sydney World Pride 2023 at Maunsell Wickes Gallery Paddington along with celebrated artists such as William Yang
